  • There were two large and powerful tribes that lived in the land of Al-Yamamah, and several wars were taking place between them, and Zarqa Al-Yamamah helped these two tribes in their wars, as she stood on top of a high mountain, and saw the path of the enemies and their directions, and then her tribe knew that, so that they would prepare for the fight, and every time she was the reason for the victory of her tribe, and in honor of her, boys and girls cheered and greeted her.

  • Zarqa Al-Yamamah could see on a two-day march, And there was a man named "Riah bin Morra", and he was a minister of a king called "Hassan", and one day, "Riah" said to his king: O king, I have a married sister in the city of "Jadis", and she is called "Zarqa" who can see a person from a march equivalent to a day and a whole night, and I am afraid that she will look at us and warn her people, so they prepare for us
  • Therefore, he ordered the men of his people to cut the branches of the trees and hide behind them, in order to defraud "Zarqa Al-Yamamah", and the king ordered them to do so at night, but "Riah" replied to the king, saying: Her eyesight is stronger at night, but the army marched at night, and hid behind the cut trees.

  • When they approached Al-Yamamah, "Zarqa Al-Yamamah" saw them and said to her people: O Al-Jadis, the trees have walked to you, and the first horses of "Himyar tribe" which is the army of the enemies, came to you, so the answer of her people was only that they lied and mocked her, and as a result the armies of the enemies came and surprised them and overcame them, and they entered the city and caught it, and the king of the enemies asked her, What did you see?

  • When they approached Al-Yamamah, "Zarqa Al-Yamamah" saw them and said to her people: O Al-Jadis, the trees have walked to you, and the first horses of donkeys, which is the army of the enemies, came to you, so the answer of her people was only that they lied and mocked her, and as a result the armies of the enemies came and surprised them and overcame them, and they entered the city and caught it, and the king of the enemies asked her, What did you see?
  • She said: I saw the trees behind her humans, so the king only gouged out her eyes to avoid her danger and ordered to crucify her at the gate of the city, and from that day the name of the city was changed from "Jadis" or "Joe" as mentioned by references and books to "Al-Yamamah" and the name "Zarqa Al-Yamamah" became one of the most famous ancient Arab figures.
